I’m Shawn Clavell, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Professor of Biology at Arizona Western College, based in Yuma, Arizona. I teach anatomy and physiology and work part time as a physical therapist at Associated Rehabilitation.
Beyond the classroom and clinic, my projects include desert growing beds, an orchard and specialty nursery, irrigation and soil building, and wood-fired outdoor cooking. This site brings those interests together with community involvement, teaching resources, and the market and news tools I return to.
